The group’s size and their hunger for truth signified a plentiful harvest field. Over 12 sessions, God’s work was evident, with a participant finding salvation early in the Alpha course.
Kara Martin, author and lecturer, emphasises integrating faith and work. Her teachings affirm that work isn’t just for earning and self-actualisation, but also a means to serve God. She interprets Colossians 3:17 and Romans 12:1-2 as guiding principles for living a life of worship. She encourages viewing work from an eternal perspective, serving Jesus, and practising fairness.

Raised in a family that worshipped idols, he found Christianity as a boy and later comfort in Wesley Methodist Church during his challenging times.
Amos and Ade, who faced flight SQ321’s turbulence, share that enduring life’s upheavals requires faith in God’s plan. They felt God’s presence during the ordeal, affirming their belief in His sovereignty and the value of trusting Him through life’s turbulent moments, supported by the love of family and friends.
The Wesley Youth Centre, supported by the Wesley Methodist Church, used storytelling to teach children aged 4-12 about God’s Word. In the first quarter of 2024, the OWL Reading volunteers developed a programme using five parables, making lessons engaging and relevant.
