The Christmas Carnival at Kelantan Court brought residents together through lively games, festive performances and heartfelt community moments. Youth volunteers led engaging booths while leaders shared messages of goodwill and hope creating a joyful celebration that strengthened neighbourly bonds.

Wesley Prison Ministry’s Christmas Outreach brought together volunteers, beneficiaries and families for worship, fellowship, games, testimonies and gift exchanges. The event celebrated Christ’s love, encouraged personal transformation and highlighted opportunities to serve inmates, ex-offenders and their families through prayer, support and community engagement.

Jason Tong shares heartfelt stories of homeless individuals in Singapore, urging compassion over judgment. Guided by Scripture, he calls readers to love through action, reflecting God’s heart for the poor and reminding us that homelessness is about people, not problems.

In a common room filled with music and gentle companionship, Wesley’s volunteers brought a ministry of presence and joy to residents —offering not just hymns and prayers but the kind of love that arrives, lingers and truly listens.

Wesley AGAPE Pickleball Ministry was honoured for its weekly outreach to trauma-affected girls at Dayspring, using sport to build relationships, foster healing and share God’s love. This meaningful work culminated in an appreciation award from HCSA.

On a sunny Saturday, over 190 Wesley volunteers cleaned homes of seniors in Jalan Besar, restoring comfort and dignity. The project, organised by COSC, aimed to build connections and support seniors facing mobility, financial or health challenges.

Wesley Youth Centre organised a carnival at Kampong Glam Community Club to engage local families, promote its programmes and raise awareness about its location. The event featured games, food, music and aimed to support families in public housing.

Wesley Methodist Church’s Block Party initiative connects volunteers with elderly residents through games, singing and meals. It emphasises community, faith and the joy of serving, fostering relationships and sharing God’s love with seniors.

The annual Celebrate Christmas in Singapore festivities returned to Orchard Road from 14 – 21 December 2024. Wesley Methodist Church participated, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ’s birth. Highlights included vibrant performances, creative costumes and engaging booth activities, despite initial weather concerns.

The Christmas at Berseh event was a heartwarming celebration, featuring festive performances, engaging games, and a strong sense of community spirit. Wesleyans and local residents came together to spread joy and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

The Christian Outreach and Social Concerns Ministry resumed computer classes at Kranji Dormitory on August 29, 2024, aiming to upgrade knowledge and skills, foster friendships, and support the wellbeing and integration of participants into Singapore’s multi-racial society.

The Wesley Youth Centre, supported by the Wesley Methodist Church, used storytelling to teach children aged 4-12 about God’s Word. In the first quarter of 2024, the OWL Reading volunteers developed a programme using five parables, making lessons engaging and relevant. The programme, running from March to May, sparked interest and encouraged positive thoughts and actions.

Volunteers from Wesley Prison Ministry, The Saturday Service, Creative Expression Ministry and Wesley staff organised a Christmas outreach for released brothers and families. Hear from the volunteers and participants on the heartwarming time of fellowship.

The long-awaited reopening of Wesley@Berseh centre and Wesley Youth Centre took place on 3 December, in conjunction with the Christmas Carnival@Berseh! Residents and volunteers across from all ages gathered for a memorable time of festivities and cheer to celebrate a wonderful time of the year.

How can we be a blessing to our migrant brothers? Will you consider serving in WMM to love these brothers through English classes and fellowship? Come make new friends and show them the love of Christ!

The warm weather did not dampen the fiery spirits of our Youths at Wesley Youth Centre, who bonded and explored nature with the volunteers in an Amazing Race at Hort Park this May.

This Christmas, WBOP hosted a Christmas dinner for our Berseh and Indus clients. During this time of fellowship and fun, we were blessed to connect with our clients and soak in the festive spirit!

Wesley Prison Ministry, together with Prison Fellowship Singapore, was grateful to have been able to bless families of inmates, released persons and their families during “Come, Experience the love of Christ” at the Wesley Plaza Hall on 10 December 2022. This was the culmination of a year of ministering to the incarcerated at Changi Prison and the Halfway House, and their families and children.

Clients and volunteers spent a fruitful and enjoyable time admiring the floral and lantern displays on two visits to the Flower Dome.

The annual Christmas Carnival returns to bring festive cheer to the community at Jalan Berseh! Jointly organised by the Christian Outreach and Social Concerns (COSC) ministry and the Residents’ Committee (RC) at Jalan Berseh, the Carnival delighted and engaged residents with food, games and performances.

Member-of-Parliament Denise Phua and Pastor-in-Charge Raymond Fong from Wesley Methodist Church joined volunteers from Wesley to distribute care packages to residents from Jalan Berseh in the Rochor vicinity.
