这五年来,每当珍妮*(化名)想起远在新加坡的母亲韩红丽女士时,她都会记起母亲在家时, 每天早上为她准备早餐、 送她上学、以及带她去逛街买衣服的快乐时光. 对于珍妮的母亲, 红丽来说,她很喜欢回忆在中国为孩子们做饭以及把孩子们从学校带回家时他们脸上幸福的表情:“这些回忆总是让我高兴起来,” 红丽说。 珍妮(Jenny)十几岁时,母亲红丽离乡背井前来新加坡工作,留下珍妮和弟弟。红丽回忆 “当时,她的首要任务是赚钱, 养活孩子并供他们上学,让家人过上更舒适的生活”。 虽然珍妮无法见到远离家乡的母亲,他们经常通过电话保持联系。珍妮深知,母亲为了养家糊口在国外工作时,她的责任就是努力学习并帮助照顾好弟弟。母女俩都接受了异地分离的常态。 恶毒的攻击摧毁她的一生 2022年4月14日。红丽的分居丈夫在光天化日之下在她工作的美芝路重庆火锅店外, 攻击她 , 用菜刀连砍她. ”珍妮说, “这一切的改变使他们的生活变得混乱、模糊” 现在的红丽左眼失明,部分手指也无法使, 由于砍伤, 脸部, 四肢和身体的其他部位都有长长的伤疤. “ 珍妮在她母亲的悲剧发生三天后才通过舅舅, 舅母得知妈妈在新加坡遭到了恶毒的攻击、殴打的讯息 。但家人没有向我透露太多信息. 刚大学毕业的珍妮说” 她是通过新加坡和中国的头条新闻得知这场悲剧。得知母亲被这起事件时她非常震惊、 恐惧、担心, 不知到母亲是否能活下来. 在得知母亲的悲剧后的几天里,珍妮开始在互联网上搜索有关她母亲遭遇的新闻。 “我会上网搜索我母亲在新加坡的消息。我对那个男人充满了仇恨,我害怕失去我的母亲, 我想见见我的母亲,”一些网上新闻包括目击者对谋杀未遂的可怕描述,以及他们对红丽能否在袭击中幸存的怀疑。网上一些评论对砍伤事件的原因进行了疯狂猜测,没有任何依据,赤裸裸的贬低和残酷。这个新闻登上了新加坡和中国的新闻头条,珍妮读着这些消息后,也充满深深的愤怒、痛苦和焦虑的世界。” “我无法为母亲做任何事情,我只是一直想着报仇。 为了生存而奋斗 至于红丽,当她被砍伤时,她所能想到的就是努力拼搏,保住自己的生命,这样她还能看到自己的两个孩子,孩子也不会成为孤儿。住院期间,随着排除万难求生的压力越来越大,当红丽有时间反思自己的现实身体状况和未来的路时,红丽因绝望、悲伤、愤怒和身体状况而产生了轻生的念头。在情感上的痛苦:“我的孩子们让我活了下来,他们激励我继续生活,并努力克服所有逆境,以便我能够再次见到他们。” “奇怪的是,袭击发生后,我也感到“释放”了,因为那个人总是威胁要伤害我在中国的家人。但他没有去找他们,而是找了我。我松了一口气,因为我的家人没有受到伤害,他伤害的人是我。”但珍妮对此有自己的想法:“我希望他伤害的是我。我宁愿为母亲承受打击,为她受苦。她的路真是太痛苦了。” 焦虑、恐惧和痛苦笼罩着母女俩,她们尽最大努力弄清楚所发生的事情,并度过那段黑暗和困难时期。红丽说:“慢慢地,随着我的养伤和康复,我心中的苦涩和仇恨也被治愈了。那是因为我开始一点一点地将自己的生命交给上帝”。至于珍妮,她只是因为所发生的一切感到非常担心和强烈的仇恨: “但令我感到欣慰的是,我的母亲遇到了很多善良与关爱她的人。此外,救世军以及新加坡华人移民工人社区成员也给予多方面的支持。红丽试图治愈情感上的痛苦,也尽可能将她身体上的疼痛和伤痕交托于主。 上帝无私的爱、真实和关爱的社区传递 今年10月,经过五年的漫长岁月,在救世军和社工的慷慨支持下,珍妮和红丽终于在新加坡团聚。
Tributes are pouring in for Joseph Chean, the late leader of YWAM and Antioch 21 Singapore, who passed away in Istanbul, Turkey, on 15 November 2023, in a car accident.
