Therefore, welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. (Romans 15:7, ESV)
Every weekend at Wesley Methodist Church, something sacred unfolds.
Across our various congregations – from Traditional to Prayer & Praise, Mandarin Ministry to Wesley Filipino Fellowship, Children’s Ministry to Youth Ministry – generations gather to worship. From Saturday service to multiple services on Sunday, across the Sanctuary, Wesley Hall, Plaza Hall and beyond our walls, the church comes alive with praise.
In all, more than 4,300 worshippers come together on-site each week, with many more joining online.
Each person arrives with their own story – some with gratitude and joy, others carrying burdens they can barely name, and still others simply searching.
And in ways both quiet and profound, God meets them here.

MORE THAN A WELCOME
To welcome as Christ has welcomed us is more than simple hospitality.
It is to receive one another with grace and patience. To create space where every person, no matter where they are in life or faith, can encounter God.
Because you give, these spaces are sustained – where people are not just greeted, but truly received.
WHAT WE SEE – AND WHAT WE DON’T
What we witness in a worship service is only part of the story.

Long before the first note is sung or the first word of Scripture is read, a quiet rhythm of faithfulness has already begun.

Ushers and greeters arrive early to greet and guide. Worship teams prepare not just in skill, but in prayer. Behind the scenes, sound crew, AV teams, musicians, singers and choir members, Next Generation teachers and leaders, and many more work diligently so that every detail, seen and unseen, points hearts towards God.
Week after week, across multiple congregations, services and venues, this collective offering forms the unseen backbone and makes worship possible.
Because you give, these rhythms of services are sustained – creating spaces where all who come can be received with warmth and care.
A PLACE TO BELONG
In these gathered spaces, something deeper is happening.

A young adult walks in for the first time and discovers a place where questions are welcome. A family returning from a difficult season begins to rediscover hope, week by week. A long-time worshipper finds fresh encouragement through a familiar hymn.
This is more than attendance – it is encounter. It is belonging. It is grace at work among us.
EXTENDING THE WELCOME BEYOND OUR WALLS
Welcoming is not confined to our main services. It does not stop at our church doors, it goes where people are.
In April 2025, Wesley began a new outreach at MWS Nursing Home — Eunos, with volunteers visiting and befriending residents. By July 2025, a monthly worship service was established. At the first service, 12 residents, two staff, and 40 Wesleyan volunteers gathered together – an early glimpse of a ministry that continues to grow.

Here, worship takes a different shape.
Songs are sung more gently.
Interactions are more personal.
But the same truth remains. God meets people where they are.
Because you give, the church is able to go beyond its walls – bringing presence, care and worship to those who may not otherwise come.
A SHARED OFFERING OF WORSHIP
It is easy to assume that a church like Wesley runs on its own momentum, sustained by reserves built over time.
The impression is that Wesley is well-to-do but the humbling reality is that our resources and reserves are limited. Every service, every ministry, every act of welcome is sustained through a daily dependence on God, expressed through the faithful giving of His people.
Your giving makes it possible to:
- sustain multiple weekly services across venues and congregations
- equip and support those who serve faithfully, week after week
- maintain spaces where worshippers can gather safely and meaningfully
- extend worship into new places and communities
Because you give, the doors remain open, the welcome remains warm and lives continue to encounter God.
AN INVITATION
Every opened door.
Every greeting at the threshold.
Every song lifted in worship.
Every life encountering God.
This is what your giving makes possible.
In this season of pledging, we invite you to respond prayerfully. If Wesley is your spiritual home, consider how you might step forward in faith – not out of obligation, but out of gratitude and love for God.
As an act of worship!
Because you give, we are able to welcome one another.
And many encounter God here!
