Nong Bua Lamphu Methodist Church celebrated 20 years of ministry with worship, dance, song and testimonies. The event highlighted God’s faithfulness, community unity, youth leadership and a call to discipleship, inspiring continued outreach and spiritual growth.

Wesley’s Small Group Ministry began in 1985. From just eight groups, it has grown to 261, thriving through Covid-19, embracing technology and nurturing over 2,400 members — a vibrant testimony to the unwavering faithfulness of God through every generation, guiding and sustaining this ministry each step of the way.

The Toa Payoh Small Group, founded in 1985, celebrates 40 years of fellowship, spiritual growth and service. Led by Peter and Doris Chow, their enduring journey reflects God’s faithfulness and inspires other Small Groups to persevere in faith.

Held on the eve of Singapore’s National Day, during the 40.Day season of prayer and in celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Day of His Power united believers across 30 locations in passionate worship and intercession, seeking God’s purpose and blessings for the nation.

Wesley Library and AV Centre closed in June 2025 after decades of faithful volunteer service. Volunteers’ unwavering dedication — from cataloguing books to recording sermons — nurtured generations in faith, leaving a legacy of love, learning and discipleship.

Wesley Church Camp 2025 united 700 participants in Kuala Lumpur for worship, outreach and discipleship. Inspired by the late Joseph Chean, campers served marginalised communities, deepened faith through sermons and built fellowship, embodying the theme Shining Like Stars.

An exhilarating 12-day journey through Greece in March/April 2025, led by Rev Lilian Ang, retraced Apostle Paul’s epic travels. Exploring awe-inspiring ancient ruins, experiencing God’s transformative grace and enjoying enriching daily devotions.

Wesley Methodist Church’s Easter service celebrated Christ’s resurrection with sermons, hymns and community support. Rev Raymond Fong emphasised transformation through Jesus’ victory, urging outreach and deepening faith. The congregation joyfully proclaimed, “The Lord has risen! He has risen indeed!”

Felix Yeo dedicated 37 years to Wesley Methodist Church, significantly shaping its administration. His journey, marked by faith, leadership and compassion, inspired many. As he transitions to a new role, his legacy of service and love continues to impact the community.

The second edition of Our Stories, His Glory features 26 faith journeys of members, long-serving and retired pastors, and staff of Wesley Methodist Church, showcasing God’s unwavering faithfulness across generations. This edition commemorates Wesley’s 140th church anniversary and will be launched in February 2025.

The Methodist Festival Choir and Orchestra’s “Let Heaven and Nature Sing” event at Wesley Methodist Church featured inspiring performances by adult and children choirs, creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere. Over 1,000 attendees enjoyed the music and community spirit.

Wesley Methodist Church celebrated Hymn and Praise Sunday, themed “The Great Invitation”. The service, led by the Worship and Music Ministry, was filled with joyful reverence, beloved melodies and timeless lyrics, renewing the spirits of the Wesleyan family.

This year marked the Wesley’s first participation at Singapore Night Festival, welcoming nearly 20,000 visitors over seven nights. With the help of 400 dedicated volunteers, the church transformed into a vibrant hub of community spirit, showcasing the beauty of service and togetherness under the night sky.

The 2024 Marketplace Conference at Wesley Methodist Church gathered over 240 participants to explore being intentional disciples at work. The theme, ‘God’s Calling: Being Salt and Light at Work’, inspired attendees to transform their workplaces into mission fields.

On the Wesley Day of Prayer, collective prayers resonated in the sanctuary, nurturing unity and a common purpose. The congregation offered prayers for their community and the church, with the goal of inspiring the younger generation. Held in conjunction with LoveSingapore, they formed groups and prayed in various locations, seeking spiritual guidance for Singapore.

Drawing inspiration from the biblical parable of the Prodigal Son, the musical breathes new life into the age-old tale, exploring it from various perspectives and emotional depths. In June 2024, Wesley Youth Ministry presented ‘Birthday Letters’, a musical inspired by The Parable of the Prodigal Son. The production involved 19 performers and 80 crew members, attracting over 700 attendees across two performances. Directors Natania Leow and Grace Leong shared insights about the successful event.

Tributes are pouring in for Joseph Chean, the late leader of YWAM and Antioch 21 Singapore, who passed away in Istanbul, Turkey, on 15 November 2023, in a car accident. Joseph was supposed to preach at Wesley Methodist Church at its Missions Sunday service on 19 November 2023. But, sadly, it is not to be.
