On 11 October 2026, Laity Sunday, our church community took a vibrant step forward in its Vision 2035 journey with the launch of the Joyful Noise coin box initiative, now positioned in the church atrium.
The launch took place after the 9.30am Laity Sunday services. Congregants were led in a reading of Psalm 100, followed by a dedication prayer by Rev Raymond Fong to mark the box as ready to receive contributions.

Rooted in Psalm 100:1-5, the campaign invites every congregant, from the smallest hands to the oldest hearts, to participate. While Vision 2035 includes physical redevelopment plans to provide space for growth, the heart of the initiative extends far beyond bricks and mortar. Vision 2035 calls Wesley to be a welcoming, missional and caring presence, making disciples, building godly families and serving the least, the last and the lost.

No offering is insignificant when given with a posture of joy. Every Singapore coin dropped into the box serves as a tangible gift of thanksgiving and an acknowledgement that we are stewards of what God has blessed us with. The distinct jingle of coins offered represents an audible reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness and our shared commitment to future generations.

All Wesleyans and friends of Wesley are encouraged to bring their Singapore coins, drop them into the coin box and join in making a joyful noise to the Lord!
