Sunday Reading
Luke 24:1–53 (NIV)
It’s Easter or Ressurection Sunday today. Yes, the Tomb is empty. Jesus is Risen, just as He said!
Read Luke 24:1–53, the final chapter in the Gospel of Luke. Today, write your own devotion and reflect using the following three questions:
1. Imagine yourself as Peter or one of the women who went to Jesus’ tomb. What would your reaction have been when you saw the empty tomb?
2. This Easter, is God calling you to share this Easter Hope with someone in your family, in the workplace or in society? Go and share!
3. In Vision 2035, Wesley Methodist Church seeks to be a Welcoming, Missional and Caring Church. Over this Season of Lent, what is God prompting you to do—as you play your part in enabling the church to fulfil Vision 2035?
Together, and with God as our Guide and Provider, let us walk this Journey towards 2035.
VISION 2035
A welcoming church in the city, making disciples,
building godly families and caring communities to serve
God’s mission to the least, the last and the lost.
